A Quick Orlando Market Report…
Buying a home for most people is one of the biggest investments one can make. It can be intimidating to some. There's a lot to know and there's no telling who is giving the right information.
With that said, it's best to go over some numbers. Numbers never lie and numbers tell the story. There's a few statistics I'd like to share which I extracted from Rockethomes.com.
In September 1386 3 bedroom homes were sold. All other bedroom homes were less than 1,000 sold for the month. For example, in September 2023, 321 5 bedroom homes were sold compared to the 1,386, 3 bedroom homes sold. Which means if you're looking to move to Orlando and want a 3 bedroom home, be ready for competition.
9.4% less homes were sold. In August 2023, 924 homes were sold. Compared to September, 2023, 837 homes were sold. This may mean that something is holding home buyers back from making a move. Which means to you there's options if you're a ready and able buyer.
Thirdly, another interesting stat I'd like to share is 478 homes were sold under asking price. If I'm a buyer this excites me because I like discounts. That's assuming you have a great realtor with selling skills. If a home is listed at $450,000 you may be able to get it to $440,000 instead.
